The Light of Luna & the Intensity of the Sun
In those eyes,
The fire of the sun burns, your iris is a deep orange.
You cry water from the moon as you shout.
I'll hold you,
And I'll reassure you.
I'll protect you, and you'll see I'm not all bad.
The esoteric moon, hold on to me.
In those eyes,
I am nothing but the past, nothing but a fool.
I'll wait 'till you kiss me with the intensity of the sun,
And show me that my fears are false.
I'll hold you,
Comfort you,
Tell you the corniest jokes and cheesiest lines,
Until you crack a smile, and show me the light of the moon peeking from under precious lips.
In those eyes,
I am always visible, always there for you.
Without light in the night I walk blindly into the unpredictable future,
I won't adventure alone.
I'll hold you,
So close, I've lost you once and never again.
You're the reason I still believe in love.
In those eyes,
I'll hold you,
In those eyes, I'll hold you.
