Here on my own,
Slowly turning to stone,
Losing my mind,
Forgetting to find,
The small, lost,
Heart I tossed,
To try and forget,
The one I falsely loved, yet,
I know I need to forget,
But I feel I need yet,
To remember her shallow,
Cold, hardened, not mellow,
So I can not make,
The same mistake,
Of falling in love,
With a cold blooded dove.

Its interesting the feelings behind the surface. Sometimes its hard giving up the things we are so familiar to. I remember how much my heart ached when I ended it until I saw how much his feelings for me were a lie
