Animal Love
Tell me that you don’t hear the animal cry when she loses a child,
Tell me that it doesn’t have a heart that can withstand the hard grip of love.
Tell me now that we cannot compare.
Can only the “worthy” human hold emotions?
Do you have to have the power to destroy a life to love?
Love does not reside only in the ones who can destroy it.
Maybe the animals that cry are the ones who really understand it,
Maybe trying to understand love is a waste of time.
Living with and without love is natural in life like the beating of a heart.
Does love only consist of romance these days?
It will come and go like a storm,
Appear suddenly like a sun shower on a clear day,
And disappear as the sun does in the late hours of the evening,
Love is sporadic and can show up in the oddest places.
Most of the human race is too blinded by their ego to understand this concept,
One of the things meant to be understood. The meaning of love is better as a mystery,
So, tell me that the animal is the one that doesn’t understand.
