The feeling kills me
You make me feel
Feel like nothing
Everything I do isn’t good enough
Not for you
No matter what I do
I’ll never be who you want me to be
I’m not your straight A student
I’m not your goody good child
I’m not your truthful honest daughter
Not because I don’t want to be
But because you don’t believe
So for once
Just once…
Believe in me
Believe I can do better in school
That I’m not a screwed up kid
And that I am a good child
Just for once
Except me for me
Please...
