The sun is shining
The clouds are everywhere
Im just sitting here as I stare
Out the window
This'd be perfect
But you're not here
Not where you're supposed to be
Right here beside me
Im alone
Here by myself
Just me and no one else
My mind and my thoughts
MY pen and my pad
My room and my cot
Just sitting here deep in my thoughts
Going through old things I should have forgot
Stuff I'd packed away deep
Never to be brought
Back to the present
I learned my lesson
