Rising Tide
Rising Tide
When the nights are cold
I still have you standing by my side
And when everyone’s growing old
Together we live like an ocean tide
Sometimes we think we’re going to fold
Cause we can easily collide
But come what may, our glue still holds
Even after all we have cried
It’s me that you still make bold
I’m so Jekyll and you’re so Hyde
Yet somehow, we stay controlled
You’re the only one in whom I’ll ever confide
And to me nothing will ever be withhold
We are so carefree, it’s just bona fide
Our story is unique, or so it’s been told
So now let’s go dance with the rising tide
