Power of the Elements
Power of the Elements
Water, wind, fire, and earth,
All very different elements,
Each inflicting a different fear.
Water in a large wave,
Quickly engulfing all and pouring from the sky.
The people underneath,
Their lungs can take no air.
It floods as far as the eye can see;
Destroying everything in its path.
Wind swirling around the sky,
You never hope that it will make you fly,
Destroying everything in its path.
The earth starts shaking;
Its plates are moving.
Buildings collapse crushing almost all around;
A greater area than just the fault lines,
Destroying everything in its path.
Fire is my biggest fear.
Spreads like rapid,
Flames from floor to sky.
Slightly blue at the center,
Reaching, turning red at the tip;
Destroying everything in its path.
As bad as they are, they still hold their bounty…
BEAUTY
Water, blue, light, dark, or black,
White foaming tips at the top;
Always moving always changing.
Wind blowing by,
Carrying the fallen leaves.
Although you cannot see the gust,
You can feel the beauty surrounding you as it passes;
Always moving always changing.
Earth green and brown,
Home for all,
Always changing always moving.
Fire with its bright colors,
Attracting much attention,
Providing warmth,
Always changing always moving.
Nature is a large beast,
But a thing of beauty.
Not to be changed.
It cannot be stopped.
