Tinkerbell
The loose wooden board
 In my waxed hardwood floor
Is a constant reminder to me
A constant reminder of what is familiar
 With insignificance so sweet

 Padded steps cross over it,
 Forever creaking its tune,
My wooden board is always there
I promise to be home soon

 Polished, shined and attended to,
Through cracks and dirt and grime,
 My loose wooden board
 In my hardwood floor
Remains to the end of time.
