Papercut
Today I found an old love letter
Written by the only one I've ever felt for
Buried under piles of useless papers and unopened books,I reread the once so familiar words
Blinking back the liquid of emotions was something I was so used to doing
When surrounded by arrays of people
Who have always wanted to see me fall apart
But those rules didn't apply here now
Tears poured like a spring shower after I read the words,
"I love you, forever my dear."
As I realized forever had a different meaning to the both of usI tried to drop and let go of the letter
Like you let go of our passion
But a sliver of scarlet stopped me
Before teara could wash out this new papercut
 I realized I was actually
 Bleeding from the heart.
