Shadows twist and dance
Jumping,dancing,twisting,turning
Always just out of sight
They flicker away

Brought on by a flame
Hidden in the rising smoke
They flit around
Never quite in reach

Always fliting away
Just when you turn your head
Always in the corner of your eye
But never quite there

Blow out the flame
And it will disappear
But the smoke that takes its place
It simply seems more real
