Promises
The lies of a fairytale,
 there lost in your eyes
 Entangled in hope,
 my sutle heart dies
 With you my conviction,
 my time growing thin
 I'm stuck in this world,
 between love and this sin
 Your promises meanings,
 they change over time
 My hopes fade to black,
as I look in your eyes
 My question, your answers,
 they change no surprise
 You always find ways,
 to crush my surmise
 So promise a river,
 fill it with gold
 Give it all to me,
 when it's already sold
 Then grasp my hand tight,
as you look in my eyes
Your heart is all I have,
 to keep me alive
