Sitting here thinking…
The employees at this office
in my head are searching all over
For some sort of file.
But it’s here in front of me,
This concrete giraffe
These thick bricks,
Neatly stacked as the neck,
And the sun reflecting windows
Will be the spots.
Beige outline can take the place of the orange fur
The chimney and roof door like the small ears
A piece of this jungle we’ve named Downtown…
