Favorite Quote:
So I know she forgives me, just as I forgive her. Thomas Edison's last words were: "It's very beautiful over there." I don't know where there is, but I believe it's somewhere, and I hope it's beautiful.
--John Green, Looking for Alaska

‘Round the desert pool
Where the autumn wind will sigh
And the sparrows chirp a song
Signaling cricket’s lullaby
A violin, a melody
Played against the moon
And the golden fading starlight,
With clouds as sun’s cocoon
The final sweep of slender bow
Against the cricket’s strings
Before succumbing to silence,
Folding fragile wings
A birdcall in the distance
Where forest meets the sea
And larks circling the horizon
Just past the willow tree
Around the world in a day
Or just a single night
Seeing all there is to see
Before it exits sight

Spectacular, a true work of art. Reading your other poem, Onwards, you give the impression of extreme potential. There is an edge of sophistication, philosophy, and yet simplicity to your work, rare qualities of budding genius. Please continue your writing.
