Wanting to surrender
But not ready to back down.
Can't give in.
It goes against everything
She's Ever known.
Rule set down by her.
Laws of her own.
Once so strong
And now so weak
Slowly falling
With a silent scream.
And still without a sound
She falls to the ground
Surrounded by pain
Hopelessly trying
With nothing to gain.
She plunges into darkness
Alone but not afraid.
She lets no sound escape her
As she accepts her fate.
