They burn out quick
Just as quick as they light
Light up your world
With joyful insight
Of how to run
Run your life down
Until nothing is left-
All that is left is dried-out wax
And with that wax
You attempt to crawl towards a faint crack in the wall
A light shines through that you use to find your way
Through the dark night
But that light you created,
It's a false comfort,
Something wrong
Something fake*
