Corners
dust even a vacum neglets
fills the corners of each room
signifying every day that passes
every person that has been inside
whether to stay or just pass through
the carpet shows wear and old age
the desk is covered in marks and scuffs
the scars and scratches tell the tales
of every single thing that has happened
be it tears, laughs, love, or confusion
the corners grow more full of dust
more people come through and leave
leaving traces of themselves here and there
to never be forgotten or to be remembered
as memories continue to fill the corners of my mind
