Love's Hush

My palms are getting sweaty
though there seems to be no reason why
Could it be for the same reason
my face gets all hot and red
When I look into his eyes
I beg he cannot tell
or else my life would be a living hell
How can this insensitive jerk,
cause my eyes to always search
I can hate him with a passion
Yet love him just the same
and though it seems impossible
I feel my heart skip a beat
everytime I hear his name.
So what if this is just a crush
For now his very presence
puts me into a hush.
