My burden

I swear it feels the sun sets on my shoulders everyday,
Like a heavy hot burden that leaves scalded blisters,
Though not like the sun does my mind set,
It leaves me awake to wander the endless streets of my head,
While I am tossing and turning under the sheets of my bed.
Not quite asleep but hoping for the best,
So I can close my eyes and open them to a new day
Where the sun rises from my shoulders,
And chase the worlds vague dreams away.

Late at night I always feel like I have more stress on my then what I do, but when I wake up in the morning I feel like all that stress is gone.
