A midsummer’s day is like no other.
With its radiant sun flickering bright.
Wind whispered a soothing melody upon my ears.
Such dainty tunes will bring you to flight.

Its whistles and wonders blustered through my hair,
as I laid ever so still,
beneath the shade of the lonely oak,
forsaken upon the hill.

With my resting head among the ground.
The grass tickled alongside my face.
staring high into the sky,
admirering this beautiful place.

As of around me lay the vast harvest grain,
next to the long rolling meadow.
as its emerald green hills,
like the tranquil waves of an endless flow.

Then soon came a drifting cool breeze,
as the oak’s leaves tosseled and twirled,
they quickly flew with the spiralling wind,
as a single sparrow soars and swirled.

no sound t'was made but thy wind against leaves,
of the lusterous sage forest which stands before me.
I blush softy, thinking of her.
Beneath the great oak tree.
