There’s something missing
A piece in my heart
It’s close but not close enough
It’s scared it will be torn apart
If you listen quite closely
You can hear it beating
It pounds louder
My temperature starts heating
It’s you it’s you
You’re what’s missing indeed
You’re the only thing I want
You’re the only thing I need
Whenever I see you my heart skips a beat
My mind clouds up inside
I fall in a daze and cannot eat
I want to be with you
Yet I know I cannot
For I can’t hold hands with a dream
And I can’t kiss a thought
