Muscle Spasms
I can feel,
The muscles in my legs,
Contracting,
Getting tighter and tighter.
A burning sensation follows,
The worst feeling ever,
I try to explain,
What is wrong,
But I can't talk.
All I want,
Is for this pain to go away.
I feel the need to scream,
And I do.
An ear-piercing shriek.
So much pain,
So fast.
And just when I think,
It's all done,
I shuffle my legs,
And try to stand up.
But I only seem to fall back down.
Tears in my eyes,
The pain is back,
It never left.
