Living dead

when you were alive
you acted as if you were dead
so what’s the different if your in the grave
it’s all the same
you sit all by yourself
you’re still selfish
think of no one else
left your kids without a mother
left them with an irresponsible father
you were living dead
and you couldn’t even do that right
you left your kids with scars
built up a prison around you
with metal bars
hold yourself off from the world
but even that couldn’t keep you away from the truth
that you’re living dead
