Cruel letters
Unforgivable letters
Used in other words
Are innocent
But this combination
intended to scar
the mind
Insult.
These letters
shut me down
I look straight ahead
Crank my music up
And crunch as loudly as I can
On that sweet peppermint stick
That I'm so glad I grabbed
I can hear snippets of sentences,
Are you listening to me?
No, I'm not
I'm skewering you
with my tongue
sharpened
peppermint stick
right now
And it feels good.
