Difficult is not impossible - Relient K, "Hope for Every Fallen Man"

If all I had was love, would I still be lovely?
If all I gave was love, would you give up on me?
-House of Heroes, "Love is for the Middle Class"

Shadow's downcast on Eerie's night,
the stars smiling frightfully upon it-
Crisp, the air she breathes smells of warmth,
softly embracing her luminescent skin-
Crack! The light rolls through her eyes,
the thunder her melody of choice-
so she sings,
circling the horizon she takes
the attention of all living-
leaving them to wonder in the midst of mystery
with gaping eyes and pounding hearts-
Sleep is for no man
on Eerie's night.

"unwelcome truths are not popular."

Wow. I really can't say much else besides that. This is definitely one of the better poems that I've read lately. It was hidden and beautiful. I congratulate you for pulling off such a balance between the mysterious and the revealed. [: Please do write more; I will try to stay posted!

Enjoy five, much-earned stars from moi

I can't believe no one has posted on this article yet, but at least I will....I absolutely loooove this! Like you, I like poems and/or stories that leaves a sense of mystery behind, and something that keeps your mind wondering, trying to unearth  the real meaning of it.
