Flames
Running out of breath
 You’re the only one left
 Alone in a crowd
 I see you again
 Feeling something I’ve never believed
 Was real
I guess it’s just something you have to feel

 Running away from my imagination
Before I get too caught up in you
Because you’re just too good to be true
Nothing’s ever worked for me before
 Why should it start now?
My hopes aren’t dependant on some dream
I can live without this feeling
 (Superficially)
But I wish you had it too
How can I ever know if you do?

Numbness is blindness is a blessing in disguise
 Who wants another heartbreak?
Who knows what would happen if I came
 Upon another heartbreak

I think it would be too much for
 Any heart to handle
In the dark, I need a candle
 Will you be the wax?
 Will you be the flame?
Are you wild, or are you tame?
If only you felt the same
