The light

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
Or at least, that’s what they tell me
A light that will bring you so much joy
Or at least, that’s what they say
And this light, it is why you suffer daily
Just for this light, to push you on your way.
Sure, I believe them, why not?
But my question is,
Where is the tunnel?
