Though I would always welcome it
Kids of all colors would be loud
Accepting the neighborhood like a perfect fit
Mariah Carey's "Honey" playing on the radio
Young girls doing the shimmey
Making life's own fun list
Icecream man on the streetmkids saying "gimee"
Selena in a constant revival
Singing through the mouths of the children
There,there was no rivals
My warm,cozy den
Spanish spoken within every summer
Where everyone ws fine moving at their own pace
No pains,no hurts,no bummers
Back at the old place
