I’m just a kid
Sometimes I make mistakes
The line between right and wrong is still vague
I’m not always sure what’s best for me
And sometimes I yell for no reason
Sometimes I don’t even learn my lesson the first time
And some lessons I still haven’t learned yet at all
Because I’m not fully grown yet
I still don’t know the difference between love and lust
And I don’t know when to pick my battles
And most of all
I don’t know who I am
And who I’ll become
Because I still have lessons to learn
And I’m still making mistakes
And I still have a path to choose
Because I’m just a kid
