When life gives you lemons, throw them back and tell life to make its own lemonade.
When life gives you melons, you know something is wrong

"I write to create
In the world’s massive novel
A page of my own"

-By Emily M., NW Washington, DC

Sitting here alone, staring into the computer screen
I wonder
Is the world truly a better place?
Are we better people?
Is the human race good enough to even be allowed to live?
I feel as though
I was born into the wrong body
Constrained by this material form
Ready to take flight
To soar to the outer most boundaries
If there are any
But trapped within this sack of skin and bones
I type furiously over and over
Still wondering
Wondering

I was sitting in the computer room at ten o'clock at night when I wrote this.

"Making sense is overrated." - Me

I think it's interesting that you wrestle with such big questions, I thought I was the only one who did that. I do it more often at night too. But you did do a really good job with this, it's really poetic.
