Kid Memories
Life as a kid is great
You play in the mud
No concerns on your mind
Just trying to get as dirty as possible
And have a good time
You play with your toys
And you pester your mom
When she says “Bath time”
You think “She’s surely wrong”
Run to your room
The safest place ever
You hide under the covers
So the monster can’t get you
But then you grow up
And all the pressure builds up
You can’t be a kid
Nobody will allow it
But you’ll always have the memories
And that’s what matters
