The day presses from all sides
Yet i'm alive inside
It us where i hide
Where i confide

people are blind
They don't see the kind
Hopeful heart of mine
I just need a vine
To bind me to this time

Lost in the past
Dreams of a bleak destiny
I'm looking for the one
Who can see inside of me

This poem is about being insecure and misunderstood and looking for someone who accepts you for who you are
