I like to hide
behind ever mounting piles
of paper and ink.
I like to hide
where I can write
and no one can see
it's really me.
I like to hide
behind a philosophical mask
where no one would suspect
that I was a naive little girl.
I like to hide
where I can't be found.
I likeot hie
but sometimes
the turtle must come out of its shell
