Flight
I’ve stepped from this edge, no longer afraid
I’ve felt the rapid cool, the rapid rush
I know no fear, I’ve made the jump
I no longer feel gravity’s crush
It’s out of my hands now, no longer mine
I’ve taken flight, I can soar
I know at the bottom, there’s another life
I can see it now, just another door.
I’m getting closer, I can feel it quicken
I’m reaching my descent, passengers exit
I’m through now, goodbye cruel life
I know I won’t live to regret it.
