Simply Yours
There’s nothing left for me to hide
As you stare into my eyes so wide
 Vulnerable, I’m your empty canvas
Taking the fine strokes of your finger-tips
And showing their color to the world
I will be yours to hold

 Lit up from the inside
To this feeling I will abide
Never has a man made me feel so warm
Not once have you caused me harm
Each time you gently hold me,
I am filled with untamed glee

 Hush, my singing heart
I must hear his silent meaning
As he strokes more lines into my soul
I could swear I heard the words
 Words I’ve kept silent
Yes, I sigh as I return the sentiment

 Simply, I am now yours
