Would turn into this short lived fling
I tried so hard to resist
But the harder I tried
The easier it was to fall
But I knew
What I was doing
Was wrong all along
I knew I would get hurt
Giving my heart to you was useless
Cause you’re just a big flirt
So I left to give myself time
To make a choice
But you made the choice for me
It was easier
But it hurt just as much
You chose him over me
In my heart I see
My intentions were wrong
And we’re just not meant to be
