This is lovely! I really liked the comparison, and now I want a cookie. ^.^
I love the very last line the most, the "Each life has a purpose." one, because it's as true as they come.
Although I like this article, I wish you wouldn't have said the same exact thing for both pieces being compared. Like, used synonyms instead of not changing it at all.
Still, I really liked it. Awesome job!
