A round ball of yarn sits here
The slender strings adhere
Until a cat’s crawl
And long legs sprawl

Scratch
Scratch
Scratch

Gnarled yarn I bury
Deep within me
Yearning for yarn to unravel
For frustration to unfurl on the gravel

Thump
Thump
Thump

My heart hastily pulses
Until the adhesion avulses
The hands of my heart feel its body bursting
I erupt, the woe is worsting

Crack
Crack
Crack

Hot tears scald my rudy cheeks
Scorching lava leaks
I cracked
The ball is no longer flawlessly round, intact

Boom
Boom
Boom
