What's Wrong With Me?
I stay silent,
 Unheard,
No words fall off of my lips.
 I give a shy smile,
 Scared,
A smile that pleads for conversation.
 I blush bright red,
 Embarrassed,
Thinking I look like a fool.
 He looks confused,
 Only for a second,
 As he walks on past.
 He scans the crowd,
 Eyes gleaming,
 Ready for laughter.
He spots what he is looking for,
 A group,
 His friends.
 The girls smile flirtatiously,
 They talk,
 Laughter echoes.
 I watch everything,
 Unnoticed,
 Thinking "how do I approach?"
He scans the crowed once more,
 Looking,
His eyes not even seeing me.
 I stand Unnoticed,
 Invisible,
Trying to fight back the tears.
 I wonder,
 Thinking,
 What's wrong with me?
