When you first left, even the mountains bid adieu
The ice hardened again, hiding them from us
Brilliant orange coated the grass
And branches were slowly blossoming into full-color death
The air was chilly, and the sky was stained an everlasting blue
The plumage lasted till the first snow fell, and did you know how much I missed you?
