God's Loving Hands
When I look into your eyes
The tears begin to fall
How did we become friends you ask.
What was once there has faded away.
You say it was meant to be
But you stare back at me, into my sparkling watery eyes
And there is no feeling.
Not even a little.
Once again I walk this earth alone
No one to catch me when I fall.
The fog is so dense that I have become lost in it
Swallowed whole.
How will anyone find me out in this cold damp foggy night.
I lay down for what I thought was only a moment.
When a voice called out to me.
This was no ordinary voice it was God.
He had called me to be with him in his kingdom.
I graciously walked into God’s loving open arms.
He was waiting for me an always believed in me
when no one else did.
I put my faith in his hands an now I will never be alone again.
That lonely night in the fog made me realize that I mattered,
But most of all I am loved through it all.
