Writers Block
Thoughts
Circling around my brain, and stealing my sanity away as they beg to be released
I must write them down quickly and free them from the clustered confines
Just within my reach
If I fail, then they’ll be lost forever like a rare breeze on a hot summer day
I think myself clever, once I manage to coax the words into submission
But more often than naught the vexing words slip away
As I sit on a wooden stool dreaming with my eyes wide open
