I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive. Forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note - torn in two, and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one. ~Henry Ward Beecher

When there is not
How can there be a me?
Without you by my side
I am nothing

When there is no you
I can kiss nobody else
Because their lips on mine
Are a fire in hell

When there is no you
I cry myself to sleep
And when you cannot hold me
My heart begins to weep

When there is no you
Life is just a mystery
'Cause you put the pieces together
And helped me see me

When there is no you
How can there be me?
