The Pill Kills
Her heart beats
Quickly
Thumping
She licks her lips, slowly
Grasping her situation
Like a puppet
She gives them the strings
That make her dance
She feels awful sleazy
and her stomachs uneasy
as she takes the pills
they get there fill
on a dare
unprepared
she took her poison
on that night
and in the hospital
her body gave up the fight
and now a grave by a tree
marks were she will be
for all eternity
just cuz of that night
when she wasn't so bright
