Don't Ask Me
spread these wings we're falling down
a lifeline unspoken amongst the crowd
do you still dream of wandering
 into that void you're discovering?
as you're pulled from side to side
never going to know what to decide
 these forces attracting your guilt
but you continue to follow your pride
i beg you to look up and breathe
 imploring that you finally see
the glass you step on is cutting in
breaking the shield of the strongest skin
   and you are falling
 glittering thoughts drifting away
tell me, angel, in your secret dismay
remember its just fine to scream
 nightmares give way to nothing
piece us back together like puzzles
its youre only hope of wandering
 someday.
