Guardian
who we used to be
 becomes who i am
built on smiles and good times
you lift me out of my mire
 leading me to redemption

 i've been lost too long
in a world not my own
i've grown out of that skin
 into a whole new existence
and you've borught me from sin
 to sweet salvation

 somewhere inbetween
losing hope and wishing a dream
i found God in a prayer
thanking Him that you were there

 little light in my eyes
 showed me to be free
 cleansed me of wretched sins
and in God i can see
 my way Home again
 my guardian...
 you hardly even know
 how much you mean

 somewhere inbetween
losing hope and wishing a dream
i found Life in a prayer
 thanking God that you're here.
