Stuck
He bends and twists your heart,
All the while you pray it won't break.
But one day, its just too much,
And you start to fade away.
From the very beginning,
He had you spinning,
In each and every way.
He played you like a board game,
And of course you lost.
You had no idea of the price you would pay,
You did not know the cost.
Days and days flew by,
But for you time was in slow motion,
Because to you,
He was your devotion.
He does not want you now,
You have to move on.
Now you're stuck there in that time,
While he's already gone.
In the end,
Maybe you'll win because he made you stronger.
But you still can't seem to break loose.
The days are getting longer.
Boys will be boys,
They are surly not men.
They'll play the game,
Again and again.
One day,
The girls will learn.
It's better to have real love,
Then to leave the passion to burn.
