Best Friends Forever

I guess I kind of miss you,
but really, so much has changed.
What happened to our promise,
our vow as BFFs?
All of that is gone,
washed up in our own selfishness.
Sometimes I wish for the old days,
where we could laugh and cry together.
But those times have passed,
has it really been so long?
I feel like it was just yesterday
when we laughing in my room.
But you seem to have moved on,
so why can't I bring myself to?
