Chains
Flowers in her hair
Peace in her heart
Love in her mind
Just give her some time
One day reality will hit her
And she'll know life isn't perfect
Life is a sick and twisted dance
But she always gives it another chance
When will she learn?
She rants her songs
Forgets your wrongs
She's never been here
Always over there
Her thoughts fly away
Overwhelm her day
When will she let go?
Life is about keeping on your mask
Forgetting your ugly cracks
But sometimes you have to open up
Know when to let yourself cry
She needs to let herself care
But she doesn't know how to love herself
And she cries as she takes the petals from her hair
