Through My Eyes
What's the point in defending your argument?
You always lose
You always suffer
Usually in more ways than one
Remember that saying 'it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile'?
Well, to me, it's harder to smile than it is to frown
Even when the sun's out
You can see the sadness in the light
Nothing's as it seems anymore
What I need becomes what I want
The life I use to love has become my prison
My luxuries have become my burdens
The world's turned cold and dark
I'm left sitting in the ashes of my happiness
Black, gray, and blood red have become the colors of the world
The warmth of the sun no longer casts its glow over my town
Days become nights and nights have become hell
The moon doesn't even glow anymore
Chaos has destroyed the world
And I'm the only one who sees it
