Charcoal MAG
A piece of charcoal, staining hands, pressed to the canvas
Stiff lines form,
Charcoal lines
These lines become individual shapes
Shapes become faces round and pure
Faces grow bodies, torsos, limbs, and feet
Bodies have minds,
The minds become thoughts
These singular thoughts become their personalities
Personalities added to bodies
Become people
People with lives and thoughts and dreams
On a single piece of cloud white paper
Until the artist, that oh-so-ever creative artists
Smudges their reality, their lives, and thoughts, and dreams
As we all know charcoal isn't definite.
